How is a software engagement scoped?
We begin with the workflow, the people who use it and the systems it depends on. Discovery identifies constraints, data and integrations. We agree scope, responsibilities and acceptance criteria before delivery, and release and support requirements are scoped with your operating team.
Should we choose a fixed project or software development as a service?
A fixed project suits a defined outcome with stable scope and acceptance criteria. Software development as a service suits a product roadmap that will keep changing, delivered through agreed monthly capacity. We recommend a model after discovery, once the scope and dependencies are clear.
Who owns the code, data and accounts?
You do. Repositories, cloud accounts and domains are set up in your organisation’s name, and the code is documented so your engineers, or another supplier, can continue the work.
Can you integrate with our existing systems?
Yes. We connect to core banking, ERP, payment gateways and identity providers through documented APIs. Discovery confirms sandbox access, data owners and change windows before any integration work is committed.
How is security built into delivery?
Role-based access, audit events, secrets management, code review and dependency checks are written into the acceptance criteria. Where the risk requires it, our Security & Governance team tests the release before it goes live.
Can you take over or modernise an existing application?
Yes. We start with a code and architecture review, document the risks we find and plan an incremental migration rather than a disruptive rewrite. Data migration is rehearsed, with a tested rollback, before cut-over.
Do you work with regulated organisations?
Yes. We work with banks, fintechs, public institutions and healthcare providers. Delivery records, access decisions and test evidence are kept so your risk, audit and compliance teams can review them.
What happens after launch?
We hand over runbooks, monitoring and support contacts, and agree a support window with your operating team. Ongoing improvement can continue through dedicated monthly capacity.
